Vault 21 Goes Up For Sale!

Mr. House call your office.

A CGI rendering of what the the facility might look like after some use and urban redevelopment.

Girard Henderson's 14,620  square foot underground fallout shelter just off  the Las Vegas strip has gone on sale again for a mere 18 million dollars.

Actual photo of the interior of the facility.

It appears to be the most '70s bunker ever, including in its living arrangements a small cluster of 1 story "houses" around an astroturf garden with a swimming pool. It had been sold 4 years ago to a shadowy organization that totally claimed not to be named Vault Tec, so its resurfacing on the market for such a comparatively modest price given the size and location is almost certainly not some sort of ill omen or indication of a trap.

REMEMBER! "Everything's better when you experience it in a vault!"

1 It was sold for $1.15M 4 years ago.  The current price was clearly set by someone out of his mind on drugs.

2 Hmm...I'd mentally slipped a decimal on the previous sale. That's a hell of a markup. Still, 18 million for 14,620 blast proof sq.ft. in Vegas "Right off the strip" seems not completely out of the realm of reason, but I know nothing about Nevada real estate. Note that "right off the strip" here means 3 miles from the Mirage and about 5 miles from the Luxor, almost directly between Boulder Station and The Hard Rock. That's a gentle stroll here in Virginia but it's a long way to walk in the Mojave, which should keep the casino people at bay.

Plus it's about 900 feet from TWO hospitals and there's a grocery store, an asian buffet, a Dunkin' Donuts and a Carl's Jr. at the intersection less than a kilometer away!  Radiation protection and chicken tenders. That's it! I'm going and buying a lottery ticket right now!
