One Step at a Time
Niece-sitting, Nephew-sitting, bird-sitting, house sitting (some of which involve remarkably little sitting) helping out a friend who lives an hour away, yard-work, a cold, killing mosquitoes, and stupidly failing to save my work before the power flickered are all factors in the recent perfunctory posting....of which this is an example.
But I really had to get the silly "Hustler" post off the top spot.
Picture is related as it reflects my current outlook regarding medical bills, school, the mirage that is graduation, and retirement. Still, even if they won't let me take my final required class until next spring, I'm almost there. I can see the goal. It is in my grasp, if I don't succumb to exhaustion or despair.
Of course, I could be taken out by malaria as I've NEVER seen the mosquitoes as bad as they are this year. Walking through my neighborhood is like something out of The African Queen.

Maybe the mosquitoes are bad, but at least you don't have leeches. Or did I just jinx you?
