Final Farewells
More on the passing of Jerry Pournelle, from people who unlike me, have the writing skill do him justice; Sarah Hoyt, Neil Schulman, Glenn Reynolds, Rand Simberg and George R.R. Martin.

The man was a visionary, and gave many of us hope in a time that hope was the scarcest treasure of all.

Don't understate your writing skill, I thought your eulogy piece quite excellent. In fact, all the elegies I've read here have been excellent. I do wish there hadn't been as many needed.
