I've worked more overtime than straight time several days.
The water heater died.
It's winter.
Showers now suck...which should not be possible due to the physics involved, and yet...
I've narrowed the problem down to either a temperature sensor or gremlins.
To my astonishment and joy, the temperature sensor is a part that's still in inventory.
To my chagrin and woe, supply chain issues mean I can't get a replacement until January 17th at the earliest.
My hands are splitting open.
Due to supply chain issues, my order of O'Keef's hand cream has been delayed steadily for a week.
Due to the specifics of my job, I can't wear gloves.
Greya, my cell phone, died yesterday, while I was on the phone with a water heater parts dealer. It was at 78% charge at the time so I assumed something was wrong. Indeed it was, at the cellphone dealer today they decided it had a battery issue, or was haunted. In any event, It's under warranty so I'm getting a new phone mailed to me.
I did loose some text messages, so If I don't reply, I'm not ignoring you, please retry after tomorrow.
One advantage to very cold showers is that despite my lack of sleep, I'm AWAKE. In retrospect, probably should take showers now before work rather than before bed.
There are only two more days of Christmas at UPS.
