I apologize for the inexcusable lapse in stoicism.
On a much more positive note, I blundered into this the other day and it really brought a smile to my face for some reason.

Man, on my campus, if someone "needed" a class to graduate, they'd be pushing the prof in charge to offer it as an "arranged" or "readings class (as an unpaid overload to the prof).
I've done it myself, for a student who was almost at the end of her visa...
