I thank all of you who have visited this place during the past year and gave me encouraging words while I was recuperating from the stroke. Thank you. That helped me through a dark time and did more good than you realize.
A new year is upon us. This is a rather arbitrary delineation to be sure, but it is nevertheless a good opportunity for new beginnings.
Even though there are several challenges on the horizon it can be sincerely hoped that will see at least some respite from the implacable run of unfortunate events the world has suffered over the last two years.
May the new year be kind to you all and show you happiness.
