Damn....
Benazir Bhutto, the first female Prime Minister of any Islamic nation, has been assassinated.
It took 4 tries but the bastards finally got her.

Bhutto wasn't all that white, furry and cuddly, and check this out too:
"Benazir Bhutto's supporters rampaged through cities Friday to protest her assassination less than two weeks before a crucial election, ransacking banks and setting train stations ablaze, officials said."
And these people were her stoodges until yesterday? Nice.
However, if she were hated by Al-Qaida, she did at least something right. Like, not sucking up to them.

No she was not. She was far from ideal and was certainly no paragon of Jeffersonian principles. But it is often important to not let the perfect be the enemy of the good.
However, if she were hated by Al-Qaida, she did at least something right.
..and therin lies the rub. For all her faults, he was reasonably secular and vehimently anti Wahabbi, which is what Pakistan needed right now...as did the world.
