Another of Musk's Rockets is Tested

Space-X SN-10 was tested yesterday, the third in a series of launch tests that have been generally successful in breaking new ground, but that have also provided the public with more visceral entertainment.

Well, this time they aced the launch again.
They negotiated the tricky aerobatics again as well.
But this time they nailed the landing too!
Awesome!

"What'cha suppose happened to Musk's rocket 5 minutes AFTER they landed it?
 JUST GUESS!"

In addition to asking that vital question, Mr. Manley provides us with a good overview of this inspiring and entertaining test from many different angles.

1 I caught this one live, and I was thinking there seemed to be a lot of flame still going on after the landing.  Then they hosed it down and it seemed to be okay.  Looked away for a minute, and looked back just in time to watch the SRE.  (Spontaneous Reconfiguration Event.)

2 Thanks.

I haven't been following this closely, and have tended to a more cynical understanding, so I'm pleased that this has persuaded me of progress.

3 Did see a video that showed that something like half the landing legs didn't latch in the down position.
