1 I do like these bluegrass covers of rock and metal. A personal favorite of mine is this cover of Green Day's Boulevard of Broken Dreams, since it's such a natural sounding Bluegrass song.

My favorite bluegrass band that does that kind of thing is The Cleverlys. For instance, Walk Like an Egyptian

4 The Cleverlys did a video of "I kissed a girl and I liked it", but I haven't been able to find the particular performance that I liked, or I would have linked it.

Yeah, that one was good, too. The vocalist "Junior" also did a version of "Superstition" from Stevie Wonder which was awesome.

Unfortunately, he left the group about ten years ago, and it just isn't the same without him.

6 Since Superstition would be on my short list of "favorite songs ever", I went looking for the version by The Cleverlys.  And lo, here is one.  Not bad, not bad at all.
