Removing the Mask.

I'm appalled, but not surprised...not one bit.

Take 3 and a half minutes of your time and watch the whole thing.  In my experience, people like this are not terribly uncommon on college campuses where 'diversity' and 'tolerance' are often Orwellian signposts on a one way street.

UPDATE: OK one aspect of this this IS surprising. I'd somehow missed the bit about the Hitler youth rally the first time around.
Good grief!
Also, the brief applause in the background is telling.

1 I suppose we're lucky at Duck U., but the powers that be are willing to support both sides of an argument.  A couple of years ago, the U was going to show a documentary about the Muhammad al-Durrah incident, the name of which escapes me now, but it was pretty much 100% "Palestinians good, Jews evil".

About 20 students, faculty and staff (myself included) thought that if that was shown, the fact that there is rather a lot of controversy surrounding the events of that day should also be shown.  While the Muslim student organization (which does not have the same name as the one mentioned in the clip) was displeased, the U agreed and showed an hour-long National Geographic (I think) show on the whole thing immediately afterwards.

So, yeah, that.

2 Well, even in this case UCSD did allow Horrowitz to talk...otherwise we wouldn't have seen this. There have been instances on other campuses where he and other pro-Israel speakers were not permitted to do so. . So Kudos to UC for that.
