That is the answer. The question is below the fold.
As compensation for said banality, here is a reminder hat permanence is illusory.

The question is "How much did the car end up costing?"

Ouch...figuratively...

Also literally...
I spent last night in the hospital.
Friday, I got off of work quite sore and after class, before hitting the pool, I stretched....something went "pop".  An hour later I finished getting dressed....a further hour later I got to the car....some time later I hobbled into the house and went to bed. Saturday I ran hobbled some errands and Sunday I noted that the pain was only getting worse. I've passed kidney stones that didn't hurt this bad, so last night I checked into the hospital since I was about to commit the ultimate No-No of calling in on Superbowl Monday.

Fortunately, I do not have a hernia, just a badly sprained tendon. I was prescribed muscle relaxants and two days of bedrest. To my considerable surprise, the pharmacist issued me time travel pills instead of muscle relaxants and upon taking them, I immediately jumped forward in time 14 hours. I violated my prescription for class in part because the pain had lessened considerably, but mainly because two of my classes fail students on their third absence...Happily, both teachers were understanding when I showed them my paperwork. By the time I got back to the car, I was again in considerable pain and it was a dreadful chore to get out of the car once home. However, I'm off tomorrow, and have my foot propped up. I'll take the time travel pills again in short order, which will preclude much blogging.

1 Ugh.  I've had a couple of those "something went pop" moments.  Enjoy your leaps into the future!
