Finally!
After three months of trying, I was able to secure an appointment with my department head/ advisor.
Today, I discovered a couple of things.
Image is maliciously, ruthlessly and shamelessly stolen from SMBC thus callously depriving the creators of any ability to sell you stuff and line their greedy philosopher pockets.
1: The above cartoon is not an exaggeration.
2: Last semester there was a "Liberal Arts Math" class that I'd failed due to initially not taking it seriously and later lack of attendance. I never even LOOKED at the final grade because it was a total lost cause. Well, It turns out, I did really good on the final exam, which I did not expect as I was in excruciating pain when taking it. ANYWAY...I don't have to take that next semester.
3: After a thorough re-evaluation of my transcript, the department head has determined that instead of the 119 credits the college had determined that I had earned a few months ago, I, in fact, have 128 out of a needed 120 credits.
I still MAY need to take one more class if the school doesn't accept a military history class (which is being appealed). If they accept it, I pay my application fee and get my sheepskin.
4: If I do need to "gasp" take a class, I hand in my application fee graduation next Tuesday and walk on December 13th.
NOTE:
Numbers 3 and 4 are highly speculative, based on available data and not intended in any way to be an affront, a mockery, or a dare to fate, providence, kismet, or any potentially offended non-fermion non-boson restricted entities.
