Sorry, still under the weather.

Banality is below the fold.
Here is an example of....uh....WHAT IS EVEN HAPPENING!?

Well, Yesterday afternoon, I got up from bed and stood up WITHOUT A CANE! I've been feeling achy, like with the flu, weak, nauseous, feverish and had....gastrointestinal distress Saturday. The pain from the dental work had actually subsided by Friday night/ Saturday morning but I did not get any sleep until early Sunday morning. I have to take 500mg of an antibiotic (Cephalexin...which I'm spelling wrong, but am not getting up to look at the bottle). Every 6 hours, which I understand to be a huge dose...it also makes it hard to sleep. Sunday however, between the 3AM and 9AM pills I did have a nightmare about drowning, turns out my fever had broken and I was soaking in sweat. "Yay! Sleep AND lack of fever!" Sunday afternoon, after another nap, I got up without a cane and pulled the clothes out of the dryer....and got a SHOWER!
I then puttered about in despair of the mess the house is in before driving to the store to get a few grocery items, discovering to my great relief that the recent Chikin-in-a-Biscuit shortage has ended. As I drove back I elected to listen to news via the cars blue tooth.
Upon learning of the death of the Republic I decided to pull into the local 3 star Chinese restaurant, one of the last remaining "New York Style" establishments, and eat something. I did not, as is my wont, try something new, but ordered one of the lunch specials. As I left the restaurant, I had an epiphany.
Gentle reader: Kang Pao Chicken is not a best-practice-menu-selection for your first solid food in 3 days.
However, with some effort, I keep it down and got all the way home without incident, and with no subsequent oral offerings to the porcelain god, I can be well assured that I am in recovery, if still physically weak.

I don't believe there will be a stream this evening, I'm going to make a good faith attempt to go to work tomorrow and I'm still a bit under the weather, partly due to the antibiotic itself, having experienced most of the stated side effects:

Cephalexin Common Side Effects:

Nausea and vomiting
Diarrhea
Stomach pain
Headache
Fatigue
Vaginal yeast infections

At least this time I did not get them ALL!

I'm on this regime for 7 more days, hopefully that will cure the issue. I AM feeling better so streams and less narcissistic posting might resume later in the week.

Thanks for the kind words.

Stay strong!

2 PSA: You need to take probiotics. And not just some yohurt, chow the real ones. As the antibiotics kill the flora in your small intestines, you'll going to have trouble getting your nutrients. This is no joke when on strong antibiotics for sepsis.
