Some Advice

The time to order the snow blower, snow shovels and rock salt from Amazon is not when one notes snowflakes coming down from the sky.

Also: If one is a city manager and one's city is utterly defeated by 2 inches of snow, then one needs to redirect some of the municipal 'hookers and blow' budget to snowplows.

1 Hmm, but if you order enough packages from Amazon with next-day delivery, then immediately send them back,  all those delivery trucks going back and forth will help clear the roads.  I'm sure the people who process all those packages won't mind handling them twice...

2 Two inches completely shuts us down here. Heck, even a little ice and you're seriously risking your life (not so much "I don't know how to drive on ice" as "the other hundred people on the road don't know how to drive on ice and they think that 70 is a reasonable speed under the circumstances"... that said, I actually don't know how to drive on ice.)

3 Perhaps if they sent the hookers out to blow snow...?

4 I wonder what would happen if Sydney got a couple of inches of snow.  The last time that happened was 1836 so there's probably no-one to ask.
