Back in 2009 the White House set up for loyal citizens to report opinions they thought were "fishy". That effort was aimed at the healthcare debate and inspired this addition to our otherwise apolitical rotating banners.

Now they're at it again with ATTACK WATCH, which asks loyal citizens to report any criticism of the POTUS along with (if possible) pictures of the seditious fiends. The menu for attacks includes : TV Interview, public statements, E-mail, Radio/TV Ads, Video Ads, Websites/Blogs and Robocalls. Victor Hanson has thoughts here. Professor Jacobson has tweets of teh day, and there's a WaPo article on this here, which keeps to the spirit of things by adding just a touch of the old memory hole.

Now, in fairness, this is not nearly as offensive as that previous Stassiism, given that AW is not being run from a .gov site. While this is damning with faint praise, the site is ONE way for them to get a grasp of various current concerns which the administrations cocoon of provincialism and tone deafness has heretofore done a good job of shielding them from. This is not to say that it is a GOOD way for them to get that info. might even go so far as to call it un-good....but that might be considered "fishy".

Seems like we'd all be doing a public service to report all the cases where Democratic supporters come out in favor of violence against Republicans, wouldn't we?

Like Hoffa?
