Here is Some Wide Gauge Steampunk

I've been dealing with a kidney stone and a case of sinusitis. This afternoon I had a dizzy spell while taking out the trash, then I got a terrible stabbing pain in my head at the gas station. As I drove away, the vision in my right eye went all blurry.
That was a development of some concern.
Anyway, I rolled into the emergency room parking lot staggered to the admittance desk and because I am just that awesome got moved to the head of the line.
Well...
After 6 and a half hours including a trip into the angry doughnut of seeing, I was informed that I had a sinus infection that had got into my inner ear and behind my eye.
Also, I passed a 4mm stone and have another on the way...and a kidney infection.
I'm on antibiotics now...which is a delightfully anticlimactic end to the day.
