A Gripe
As I post this, it's a bit more than an hour before episode 5 of Stella-Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch airs on Crunchyroll. I note this is almost a WEEK after most all the cool kids have seen it.
We KNOW they had shirts. So was there any actual reason beyond
demographic pandering that they went with scallop shells and leaves? Was
the swimsuit thing part of the rules?
A few more quick points.
Aside from that utterly gratuitous gratuity, this was surprisingly demure for what was technically a girls fighting in bathing suits episode. I don't think there was even a 'buy the BRD' scene. (I'm OK with this)
Something bigger is going on here and I'm not quite sure what.
Yura is having 'flashbacks' again this time of Americans at Point Du Hoc and Surabachi. I assume this has something to do with that metaphysical weirdness from episode 4, but it's possible she's just a loon.
Sonora seems ill at ease with Yura's progress and this seems to go deeper than worries about her target fixation.
On a less relevant note, I find it amusing that the survivalist club broke morale over being offered a pig.
Also: Kirishima needs to talk more, I LOVE her voice.
