Another Sucsessful Grasshopper Launch
One of the Brickmuppet's Crack Team of Science Babes brings news of yest another success from Space-X with their Grasshopper test rig.

This time it's their first with their new guidance system. On June 14th the rocket ascended 1066 feet high, thereby commemorating the Battle of Hastings...ummm...five months and a day early.

This time it's their first with their new guidance system. On June 14th the rocket ascended 1066 feet high, thereby commemorating the Battle of Hastings...ummm...five months and a day early.
The coincidental significance of the altitude notwithstanding this is another significant milestone in the crafts development strategy which involves test a bit...learn a bit...test some more. The little RPV carrying the camera here gives some spectacular views of the launch.
