Update: OK I think its working....the blog, for now at least has music.
If the music annoys you, the playlist is at the bottom of the sidebar and comes equipped with a shut-up button. You can also scroll through the list if you so desire. The current 13 song list will, of course, expand and change a bit over time.
Update2:By popular demand the default has been set to "off" (I think). The playlist is moved up the sidebar as well.

How many different songs did you queue up there?
The first one I heard, I almost recognized (the tune, but not the arrangement) but now it's lost and I have no idea even what you called the file. No record of it I can see.
An extremely lush sound, lots of reverb, lute or guitar music, female vocalist (same voice doing several parts, singing chords), violin solo. Help me out here.

The .hack// OP perhaps?
It could have been one of the Angela tracks, or one of the two by Ocean Lab.
There are only 12 songs on the playlist at this time.
I will add more over the next few days.

Steven- "Key of the Twilight" and "In the Land of Twilight, Under the Moon" are both from the .hack series. However, Noir wasn't a bad guess, as Yuki Kajiura was the main provider of music for both series. I know you don't collect OST's by and large, but her album "Fiction" has a decent mix of tracks from both shows, plus some others and holds a prominent place in my playlists.
