And I thought nobody noticed my gun posts anymore...
I wouldn't call it restoring - that implies that it had some antique value to begin with. This was just a run of the mill AK-variant that needed a good bit of cleaning, and a little bit of TLC to let it know that it was mine.
It filled a hole in the collection, though, and there will come a day when a gun like this won't be available anymore. I was happy to grab this one and bring it back to life.
The good news is that it shares the 7.62x39 ammo with my SKSs. I've got a couple thousand rounds of that caliber piled up - so it should last at least a few weeks once I take this girl out to the range...
