For the second time in as many weeks ACE posts a seriously interesting revolver pic.
No I have no idea what it is yet, but reading the comments, it seems this thing can actually extract the cases as they are fired!
That's unheard of in a revolver. If this were to work, it would make a good police or defensive firearm. One could top off ones cylinder like one can top off a weapon with a tube magazine, like a pump gun. This would be very good in a lot of tactical situations.
Of course...given the general lack of these things filling gun store shelves, there is likely something I'm missing.

One problem that suggests itself is that this means that a hot cartridge is going right into the user's hand on the second and subsequent shots.
I bet it also means you can't fully load it. One chamber will have to be empty.

My first thought upon looking at it matched Steven's - does it toss the spent casing directly back at the shooter as that groove implies? Maybe that little hook tosses them up and to the right? Hard to tell from the pics. I don't see why one chamber would have to be empty, though.
I have no idea what purpose this gun would serve, but I'd love to get my hands on one just to figure out how it ticks. Neat revolver. By the looks of the grips it has seen a lot of use.
