Last Survivor of HMS Hood Passes
Ted Briggs, the last of the 3 men who survived the destruction of the HMS Hood at the Battle of the Denmark Straits passed away on the 6th.
Only 18 at the time of the ships loss, Briggs went on to serve for 30 years on the Royal Navy before retiring.
He was the president of the HMS Hood Association.

I wonder what it must have been like to be one of only three survivors out of 1400 men. What kinds of ghosts walked with those men during their lives?
