You see, she's a pretty good V-Tuber....buuuut... on Saturdays she's been doing a dramatic readings of what may be the most [ ADJECTIVES GO HERE ] RWBY / High School DxD / Sonic the Hedgehog / Harem / Gary Stu / Hentai Fanfic in the history of ever.
The pain begins at minute 28 with an overview of what has gone before and a brief explanation of the "stylistic quirks" that she has to cope with during her reading. The actual reading begins 41.5 minutes in and if you play it in the background will provide your day with 5 hours of pure, distilled, concentrated, and unadulterated cringe guaranteed to make you dumber. I caught the last two hours and when I got in from work today I burned my sausage biscuit in the microwave because I'm that stupid now.
This is epically abominable.
Luna is not responsible for writing this travesty, and her voice box suffered greatly from it.

The Things One Learns From One's Comments
So I got a bizarre spam comment earlier which consisted of what appeared to be a long, obsequious biography of William Dafoe that had been Google Translated from some other language.
While I did not click on the link (obviously) a perusal of the URL indicates that the link was to a site warning that Mr. Dafoe is secretly the leader of a global conspiracy.
I don't understand the world anymore.

A Solution to the Gawr-Gura Conundrum
Gawr-Gura is an English language V-Tuber associated with Hololive. Gawr-Gura is a little unusual in a manner distinct from her just being little and unusual. She embraces the conceit of many female V-Tubers being some variety of fantasy trope animal girl, but instead of being a catgirl, foxgirl or bunny-girl, she's half-carcharadon, you know, a great white shark.
There's lore, I'm sure.
While other demi-human damsels have cute animal ears coming out of their heads Gawr-Gura's hybrid nature is denoted by an art-deco hoodie and a shark tail.
Now, if you're anything like me, you're looking at that and wondering how she goes to the bathroom.
"Whatever setbacks I have had in my life, I can at least always be secure in the knowledge that I am not anything like you."
Anyway, Hololive is a Japanese company, and over there, a few Gundam toilets notwithstanding, they have lots of squat toilets, so, problem solved.
The toilet in the maison I lodged at for a month in Nerima; better suited to shark-girls than honkey-boys. .
See? There's one less thing to worry about now.

Oh Thank Goodness
It's just a crazy mad bomber.

Seriously, there was speculation on both sides of the political divide that whoever set off the massive explosion in Nashville was motivated by politics. The theories have included, but not been limited to, Trump voters, Bernie Bros, BLM, Antifa, Anti Government Militias on the Libertarian Right, Anti Government Militias on the Anarchist Left, people upset at AT&T, or a false flag operation by one of the above to frame another of the above, and all of the aforementioned scenarios were presented as a long stride down the dark path towards civil war.
Hence, the lack of coverage here* as there was not merely a lack of knowledge, but the actual opposite of knowledge. The information beyond the facts of the blast itself actually went into in the negative as the day progressed.
NOW THERE'S A LEAD.
And we fully acknowledge that said lead might itself might be bullshit**, but it appears the police have a suspect.
And to everyone's relief that suspect appears to be/have been a 5-G whack job ; somebody who believes that 5-G celltowers are spreading COVID-19.
This bit of Cray-Cray is far outside the realm of politics, and more importantly, seems, while very fringe, to be bi-partisan, nay, international stupidity.
So, on this one issue, we can all come together in a brief moment of national unity, the likes of which is normally reserved for furries.
*Well, that and the outage.

Link Hazzard
Beware when perusing J. Greely's site. I was reading his latest missive and absentmindedly clicked on a hyperlink.
It was a trap.
It took me to Amazon, and with that one click contaminated my search algorithims so that now, when I look for canned chicken, I now get pet food mixed in with all my chicken choices.
Ordering chicken chloride just got hazardous.
Some bloggers just want to watch the world burn.

First They Came For The Oppai...Then They Came For The Rogue A.I.
A few months ago we noted that an American V-Tuber with the admittedly spicy name Oppai Pantsu was banned for a TOS violation. The violation was that Twitch retroactively decided that "Oppai" was a banned word on the platform. They had never mentioned this and had not given the girl the opportunity to change it. She had to re-launch her channel under the name Oppapan and lost her Partner status. Her channel has never really recovered its once impressive viewership (no one can search for her under her old name).
Today, Projekt Melody got the same treatment, though there is, as yet, no indication as to why.
No indication at all...Just a pink screen.
What's weird is that despite Projekt Melody's other channel, her Twitch stream was fairly inoffensive (double entendre's notwithstanding). Projekt Melody was an entertaining Twitch streamer. She was no pro-gamer, but she was enthusiastically learning video games and her streams were enjoyable in large part because of her enthusiasm and dry wit. She did a lot to help up-and coming streamers by leveraging her sudden celebrity. Despite her official backstory (She is a rogue A.I. damnit. That is her story and she is sticking to it!) there was a remarkable sense of sincerity and fun in in her show.
This is really bizarre, I'm not sure what Twitch is up to aside from drunkenly swinging the banhammer.
I do note that Melody was one of the few streamers that spoke up in defense of those Holo-Live girls that got temporarily banned last month.
UPDATE:
Hambly can't spell "extortion" which is unfortunate as that is the reason for Melody's absence. A DMCA notice was filed by her character designer, apparently in breach of contract.
